Frequently Asked Questions
The earrings are made from a specialized acrylic composite material with a micro-prismatic surface that acts like a tiny array of mirrors. When light hits these prisms, it's refracted and reflected back, creating a visible spectrum of colors, similar to a hologram. This effect is most pronounced in direct, focused light sources.
No, each earring weighs approximately 5 grams, making them very lightweight and comfortable for extended wear. The material used is a lightweight acrylic composite, which contributes to their ease of wear compared to metal earrings of a similar size.
It is not recommended to expose these earrings to excessive moisture, including rain or showering. The specialized reflective coating, while durable, can be compromised by prolonged water exposure or harsh chemicals, potentially dulling the iridescent effect. Clean with a soft, dry cloth only.
Each earring measures approximately 6.5cm (2.56 inches) in total length from the top of the hook to the bottom of the triangle. The triangle itself is about 5cm (1.97 inches) long and 3.5cm (1.38 inches) wide at its broadest point.
The acrylic composite material has a reasonable level of scratch resistance for everyday handling. However, like most jewelry, it's not impervious to damage. Avoid storing them with sharp objects or in abrasive environments to maintain the integrity of the reflective coating.
